VICTORY IN THE CROSS
Shiloh Community Fellowship is committed to leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.  Peace, patience and real joy only come through this real relationship that transforms how we think and feel to the situations that go on in our life.  We're not perfect and we make mistakes, but friendship with God is full of grace when we mess up.

A relationship with God is a journey of many steps.  We recognize that everyone is at a different spot on that journey and we'll encourage you to take the next step no matter how big or small it could be.

We invite you to visit and experience our local Church family.  You'll be accepted, you'll experience our worship and time of teaching that will renew and spur you on to grow in your walk with God.

We're looking forward to seeing you here.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
  • We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered and was crucified, died and was buried.  On the third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, the church as the body of Christ made up of believers in Jesus Christ, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
  • We believe that salvation comes by confession of sin and faith in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, to believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose from the dead, and to proclaim that He is Lord.
  • We believe the Old and New Testaments to be the infallible Word of God; inerrant as originally given, verbally inspired by God, the complete and sufficient revelation of His will for salvation and conduct.
  • We believe in the Great Commission; to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth.
YOUR JOURNEY.

FIRST STEPS

Jesus - It all begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ by accepting His free gift of Salvation.  If you've never asked God for His free gift of Salvation through Jesus's punishment on the Cross and resurrection from the grave or you're unsure, see one of the leaders and we'll talk with you and help you start that journey today.

Community - Spending time worshiping and learning with others is one of the best ways to grow in your walk with God.

Read the Bible - God's word is designed to be woven throughout our lives, giving us new wisdom with each season we experience.  It's something we should enjoy daily.  If you have any questions on where to start, see one of the leaders and we'll help you out.

Pray - The Bible says we have direct access to God in prayer through Jesus's death on the cross.  God hears our prayers and will answer them or change our hearts to conform to His will on your life.  Don't let your fear or shame prevent you from talking with Him.  He is a good Father and is desiring a relationship with you.

ESSENTIAL STEPS
Baptism - Baptism is our way of telling others publicly about our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Not only did Jesus tell us to do it, He did it himself as an example.  We have an annual baptism at Black Rock Retreat in coordination with our Fall Service and Luncheon.  If you are interested or would like to know more, contact one of the leaders.

Communion - Jesus on the night He was arrested and later sentenced to die, told the disciples to remember Him by breaking bread and eating it and drinking "the wine".  We remember Christ in this special way on every fifth Sunday throughout the year and will continue to do so until He comes again.

Give - We see giving not a requirement, but an act of worship.  When we give, we acknowledge God as the giver of everything we have, it reflects our trust that He will continue to provide for us and allows us to be part of His work here on the Earth.

Bring your family - Following Jesus is a journey that becomes even more meaningful when shared with the family.  Getting involved in a ministry that's designed just for your children is a great way to lay the foundation in the faith for them.

FOCUSED STEPS
Building relationships - Connect with people in a home or community group where you can make new friends, connect with people and develop mentoring relationships.

Serve - Make a difference by serving at Shiloh.  There are many opportunities.
